Our Story

RichWell Living Solutions was founded by the Richard Family — and the story behind it is one that many families know all too well. As parents who are growing older, Mr. and Mrs. Richard began asking the question that weighs on the hearts of so many caregivers: “When we are no longer able to care for our son, where will he go?”

Their son Rodney, a beloved adult with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is not someone who can live independently — and they would never want him placed somewhere that felt cold, institutional, or unfamiliar. They wanted a home for Rodney that felt like home. A place where he is known by name, treated with warmth, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about his well-being — not just his basic needs.

That desire — to create a place worthy of their own child — is what gave birth to RichWell Living Solutions. This is not just a business. It is a promise. A promise built from a parent’s love, shaped by real experience, and designed for every family who deserves to feel confident, at peace, and truly supported when placing their loved one in someone else’s care.

When you choose RichWell Living Solutions, you are choosing a team that has walked in your shoes — and built something better because of it.

The Problem We Solve

The Greater Houston Area and Nationwide face a growing need for affordable, accessible, and supportive housing. Many vulnerable adults fall between full independence and institutional care — denied housing because of fixed income, disability, limited credit history, prior justice involvement, or mobility limitations.

RichWell Living Solutions offers a practical middle-ground: more supportive than a standard apartment, more affordable than assisted living, and more stable than temporary shelters.
